It's been another unprecedented week, but here we are- back to Monday. Despite the mayhem in current events, the world of Music, Arts & Culture delivered. I'm highlighting two moments from this past week that caught my attention; Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch and the Magnolia Network first episodes launch on Discovery Plus. Keep reading to learn more about these book and television gems!

Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch
This book is the January selection for the new book club that I'm in, the Tea Time Literary Club! If you want more information on the club, it can be found on Instagram. Love & Gelato follows the journey of a teenage girl named Lina who finds herself in Italy after losing her mother to cancer. The European country held so many fond memories for her mom but so many secrets too, and it's time for Lina to discover them all for herself. I thought Love & Gelato had the right amount of humor, romance, mystery, and heart, and was the perfect light read to start the year!

Magnolia Network- First Episodes Launch On Discovery Plus
Following many years of major success on their HGTV show Fixer Upper, Chip and Joanna Gaines created their own network, Magnolia Network. The release has been highly anticipated and after a long wait, the first episodes of more than ten of their original series were released on the new streaming platform Discovery Plus. The full Magnolia Network launch will be coming later this year! The subjects of the new series include everything from home restoration to music and food to farming, plus amazing people and their stories. So far I watched the first episodes of The Lost Kitchen and Magnolia Table with Joanna Gaines and have loved both; I cannot wait to watch more of what the network has to offer!

I've been feeling a shortage of art on my platform lately, so this Thursday's featured article is going to be Artworks of Winter, a collection of some of my favorite winter artworks from varying periods and styles. I hope you'll come back and check it out!
Have a great week, stay healthy, and thanks for reading!
