A lookbook exhibition. Music for good. A heartwarming film. That's what's in store for today's Mac Weekly Highlight! Monday is usually the day of the week that people look forward to the least, but I hope this article brightens your day. Personally, since 2020 has been such an unpredictable year, I'm just feeling grateful that I'm healthy and able to write for you all each week. Never forget that each day is a gift- even a Monday 😉. Enough with the philosophical talk though! Last week's best finds in Music, Arts & Culture have variety and are ready for your viewing, so let's get to it!
Music
If You Want Me to Stay, Ari Lennox & Anthony Ramos
It's widely known that the live entertainment industry has been one of the industries most-affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic. Artists, crew workers, managers, performance venues, and more have all been struggling. In response, Crown Royal and Main Street Alliance have come together to preserve bars, clubs, and stages that are landmarks in the United States of America. They collaborated with singers/songwriters Ari Lennox and Anthony Ramos, recording a song (a recreation of Sly and the Family Stone's If You Want Me to Stay) that would unlock a donation with every stream. The song is satisfying to the ear and the soul; it's a song for good, reminding us that simple actions mean a lot during these times. You can stream If You Want Me to Stay (on repeat!) on Spotify and most other music streaming platforms.

Paolo Roversi-Studio Luce Exhibition
The Paolo Roversi-Studio Luce Exhibition opened on October 10th and will be on view until January 10th, 2021 at the MAR Museum in Ravenna, Italy. Curated by Vogue Italia's photo editor Chiara Bardelli Nonino, the exhibition is like a lookbook, highlighting Roversi's fashion photography, portraits, and artistic vision. The esteemed Ravenna-born photographer has been spoken of highly by collaborators. In conversation with Vogue, Maria Grazia Chiuri of Dior said that "[Roversi's] way of representing and approaching female nature is deeply human and respectful, you feel the love and the beauty of his eye upon it. I’m not particularly keen on being photographed by men... but I accepted to sit for a rather intimate portrait with my daughter." If you're far from Italy (like me), you can find more information about the exhibition on the MAR website (http://www.mar.ra.it/eng/Home) and in Vogue.

Movies
My Best Friend's Bouquet
Sometimes there's nothing better to take your mind off the woes of 2020 than a feel-good, Hallmark Channel original movie. My Best Friend's Bouquet was one of this year's "Fall Harvest" film premieres and followed the story of a hopeless romantic named Josie, who has strong beliefs about the wedding bouquet toss' affect on destiny. With charming scenes, fall décor, love abound, and a happy ending (spoiler alert!), this film checks all the Hallmark boxes. My Best Friend's Bouquet will be playing on the Hallmark Channel again on October 22nd, so don't miss it!
